Private Log//unhackable )

I am sorry I have been absent lately. I've been looking through the library for books concerning our present situation. I think it's time I asked what people do know of this barrier.

Clyde, I was thinking maybe we could start a weekly or bi-weekly football game? What do you think? Kitty, Rachel, would you be up for such a thing as well?

[ooc: and by 'football', he means 'soccer' XD. Italics are in Russian. Lol, I'm back from being failget]

[the video focuses on a child, now, who is leaning over and looking straight into the camera, chewing on his bottom lip, and talking to himself in Russian]

There...that should take care of it. Is it recording?

[he pauses, straightening a bit to look over the device]

Yes! I got it!

[he looks quite proud of himself, before he's bending back into the camera's view, looking at it with wide, inquisitive, but very determined brown eyes]

Hello, my name is Pavel Andreievich Chekov. I've already looked through the files on this device, and it says that there is are members of the United Federation of Planets and Starfleet here? I would like to talk to them about going home. If I am late, mom is going to be very worried.

[ooc: All of the Italics are in Russian, so for all purposes, if you don't know Russian, he's speaking a foreign language at you. His English is very limited XD Action for roommates, if they want, and journal for others? Up to you guys XD]

Private Journal//off the network//lol big fat journal entry ahoy )

People sure can be outspoken because of their beliefs, can't they? That was just a bit extreme, though. Another curse?

Also, I am curious if anyone other than Mister Scott and myself know much about transporter theory? I am curious about the ones used to get to the beach.

[ooc: that entire private entry is in Russian XD Just FYI]

[many seem to be unfortunately stuck within cages today, but not Chekov. He is in traditional Russian garb, and is standing on a raised wooden stage. He seems to be motioning an audience closer rather cheerfully]

Da, da, da, don't be shy! Dancing was a Russian inwention, you know! Many ozer cultures--zey take it and make zeir own, but Russians, no--it is ze original dancing!

What? How do I know zat? Well, hawe you ewer seen Russians dance? It's ze best in ze world! All Russians know dancing--it is in our blood. We dance for our Motherland, you see? You don't? I must show you, zen. Watch, watch!

[as if on cue, some very upbeat, traditional Russian folk music. It starts out very slow--you can tell he's enjoying this as he starts with a couple slow steps, before the music begins moving faster. His steps follow, becoming more complex and more acrobatic. Think this sort of thing. Yes, including the ridiculously high split-jumps, the whirling, and the fun but ridiculously hard squatting kicks. This continues for a good five to ten minutes until he finishes on one final, rather dramatic pose, sweating, breathing hard, but grinning from ear to ear]

[ooc: action, network, whatever you want XD go for it.]

[ooc etc: Oh my holy god guys, I have no idea what I just did there. WTF is lj. alkshflskhdfs IT'S NOT LETTING ME GET THEM BACK. idk. I'LL REPOST WHAT I CAN, PLEASE DON'T DELETE THE COMMENTS YOU HAVE ALREADY]

[The scene: the beach. The first thing you're going to see from the camera's vantage point on the sand is something (or someone) hitting the water of the ocean and creating a very large splash. Then Chekov's head pops above the surface, arms flailing in the water, coughing and babbling in Russian. He looks rather distressed....until he seems to realize that the water is only up to his waist, and stands up, looking quite disgruntled and more than a little embarrassed.]

Ay ya ya...where did Mr. Scott drop me? [he starts moving towards the camera and the beach, soggily dragging himself up onto the sand. He continues walking towards the camera until only his wet and squelching shoes are in view] Ah--here it is! [and the camera angle shifts, going quickly upwards, showing the sky until it tilts, and Chekov's face is suddenly visible. He looks rather confused.] Recording? Why would it be....

[and suddenly, the screen goes dark.]

[Video function deactivated. Audio Recording : on]

'Allo? Enterprise, zis is Ensign Chekov, do you copy? Enterprise? [a tapping sound, like he's poking the device with his finger] Why is zis not working?
